“The best way out is always through.”  – Robert Frost

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey and am ready to help individuals and families of all backgrounds move forward through their life challenges.  I meet these individuals where they are currently at, utilizing an integrated approach which pulls theories such as person-centered therapy, family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based therapy.  I provide a warm, caring, compassionate and non-judgmental environment which enables my clients to move forward and heal, becoming better versions of themselves.  I am passionate about using my training and experiences in the process of helping my clients, regardless of their background and stories, and am grateful for the opportunity to do so.

I completed my graduate program at the Kean University where I graduated with my master’s degree with honors in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  I am a member of Chi Sigma Iota (National Honors Society for Counselors), the American Counseling Association, and the National Board of Certified Counselors.  I am a volunteer with the New Jersey Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  My clinical training includes experiences working in substance use disorder counseling and family therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

Before becoming a counselor, I earned a BS in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and worked in a business setting.  I proudly and happily raised my three children, all now grown, while enjoying holding a wide variety of volunteer positions.  I love spending time with my family and friends, being in the outdoors, exercising, gardening, and walking my Boston Terrier rescue.
